Launched!

While I hope that I’m an above-average woodworker (80% of woodworkers believe they’re better than the other half), I’m certain I’m a below-average web designer. So I needed the time pressure of a selling event to make me launch Cord and Oak’s website, with my working logo “wood products made and signed by hand in Ashland, MA.” Ashland is where I did the making and signing, and at today’s Ashland Farmer’s Market, this is where the selling happened!

Suzanne and I had the opportunity to talk to a lot of folks about Shaker Oval Boxes, give out a lot of candy and business cards, and sold enough boxes to make several people happy this Christmas.

I don’t like to think of myself as a “captain of industry.” I prefer “tycoon” or maybe “magnate.”
